1. Information You Provide

Construction Map may allow you to enter information such as your company name, contact name, phone number, email address, service area, license information, insurance or bonded status, selected trades, project preferences, and project details.

In the current version of the app, this information is primarily used to personalize your experience, organize opportunities, calculate profile or opportunity signals, and save your preferences on your device.

2. Saved Projects, Alerts, and Preferences

Construction Map stores certain app preferences locally on your device, including saved-project identifiers, alert state, role selection, company profile fields, selected trades, and bid or distance preferences.

These settings help the app remember your watchlist and profile between sessions.

3. Construction Map Pro and Purchases

Construction Map Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Construction Map receives subscription entitlement information needed to determine whether Pro features are active.

We do not receive or store your full payment card number or Apple ID password. Apple manages payment processing, billing, subscription renewal, and cancellation.

4. Project and Opportunity Information

Construction Map may display construction project information, project stages, bid-related details, opportunity indicators, Trust IQ, Opportunity IQ, saved-project information, and other construction-related content.

These features are intended to help users organize and evaluate information. Construction Map does not guarantee that any project, job, bid, contract, contact, deadline, company detail, or opportunity is complete, current, or available.

5. Support Communications

If you contact us by email, we may receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, screenshots, device information, and a description of your issue.

We use support communications only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, improve the app, and maintain records reasonably necessary for customer support.

6. Device and Technical Information

Apple and the App Store may provide standard technical information related to downloads, purchases, subscription status, crashes, and app performance, subject to your Apple privacy and analytics settings.

Construction Map does not require you to provide sensitive personal information in order to use the core app experience.

7. Location Information

The current Construction Map build is not designed to continuously track your precise location in the background.

If a future version adds optional nearby-project or location-based features, location access will be requested through iOS and used only for the feature you choose to use. This policy will be updated if data practices materially change.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary to operate the app, process purchases through Apple, comply with law, protect users or the service, or respond to a valid legal request.

9. Data Retention

Locally stored app data generally remains on your device until you change it, remove it, reset the app, or delete the app.

Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve issues, maintain support history, and protect against abuse or fraud.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the current architecture of the app. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Children’s Privacy

Construction Map is intended for general and professional construction use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the app.

12. Your Choices

You can control much of the information used by Construction Map directly in the app.

• Edit or remove profile information from the Profile section.
• Change your selected role, trades, service area, and opportunity preferences.
• Remove projects from your saved watchlist.
• Manage or cancel Construction Map Pro through your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Delete the app to remove locally stored app data from the device.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Construction Map evolves. If our data practices materially change, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
